Having a Party?
Before the party. Be sure to follow your regular chemical maintenance schedule. If you want your pool to look really blue?? Here is a hint! Put a bottle of Wright Liquid Bluing found in the Laundry aisle at your local grocery store. Just add to skimmer with pool running. Looks Beautiful.
After the Party
Test your water and adjust the pH as necessary. Never adding more than a quart of acid at one time.
Add two gallons of liquid chlorine or granular shock to the pool. This will kill any bacteria from to much peeing in the pool from guests.

Looks like Dirt in Bottom, but won’t brush off:
This is calcium stains or dirt stains the only way to remedy this to brush walls and keep pH at 7.4. This should lighten it. If it stills persists it is time for an Acid Wash. Acid washes can only be done in the spring or before temperatures reach 100 degrees. We would be happy to schedule an Acid wash for your pool. Give our office a call - 480-892-4845.
